I have always loved food.
I love all kinds of food.
I love eating it
Shopping for it
and preparing it.
So much that I followed my heart not once, but twice, around the world
And ended up in Calabria, Italy where I spent a summer gaining a few well worth it pounds of gelato, pasta and pizza. My love of fresh, simple foods developed here.
Not long after, I traveled again- this time I moved from my hometown in Rhode Island to a big city to follow my dreams and go to Liaison College for Culinary school.
All it took was a leap of faith and I ended up here, in Toronto, Ontario.
In culinary school I learned about creating beautiful food. I learned facts and techniques, skills I never would have mastered otherwise. But it only strengthened what I already new- I want food to be my life.
As much as I love cooking food, I also love sharing my passion with others. I love to write and always have. I love photography and enjoy experimenting with my plates of food. I took my readers with me on both of these journeys. I plan to take you with me on all of my future endeavors, as I embark on a life as a personal chef, combining my love for good food with my interest in nutrition.
I have what it takes to be the next food blog star because I have passion for what I do. I love to cook, I love to eat, I love to share my experiences. And even better, I have met some amazing people along the way.
I am going to be the next food blog star because I want to be an inspiration to others to follow your heart. I have never, ever been happier than I am today. As a food blogger, as a new chef, as a foodie. I want to continue sharing my recipes, my food experiences, my writing with all of you. Because food is my life. Ever since the moment I took a bite of the buttery Miso Cod at Nobu in New York City on my 18th birthday, I knew I wanted to share that kind of feeling with others. Pure pleasure, pure passion. Food is meant to be shared.
